Some pickleballers use Google Sheets as a means to keep track of the number of players participating in pickleball games for the day.
When you open Google Sheets find the facility, date, and time designated on the sheets and place your name in a slot. After you check to make sure everything is correct, update the sheet and hit add. You should automatically see your name in the area specified.
It is not mandatory to use google sheets, but it is helpful to know how many people will play on the day you participate. There are no penalties if you sign up and are then unable to participate on the day you sign up. It might be helpful for others who want accurate numbers if you delete your name and update the system if you are unable to attend.
